C. Webster Marsh, CLCP, MIES, CSI

C. Webster Marsh is a lighting controls specialist and the founder of Penumbra Controls. He provides lighting controls designs and specifications for various projects and is a regular contributor to the Lighting Controls Association.

He began his career in theatrical lighting design and he draws upon this experience to educate and improve architectural lighting controls throughout the industry. Webster’s first job in architecture was with an MEP firm where he learned how to write specifications and eventually became their controls specifications writer. After discovering his passion for lighting controls, Webster was hired by a lighting design firm where he joined their lighting controls team and assisted in the successful design and execution of a wide variety of projects. Webster is also a Certified Lighting Controls Practitioner (CLCP), a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), and a member of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI).
